Are you looking for a space to hold your workshop, meeting, event, gathering, info session? 

If your event is public and free to attend, you can book a room with us at no cost. Rooms are classroom sized & can accommodate up to 30 people. Clothing swap, travel slide show, potluck, travel tips workshop, movie night, book club, board games are some of the events community members have hosted. Groups are able to make only one booking at a time, this can be for months in advance, but you cannot make another booking until your current booking is done.

50 people can be seated for a dinner or 80 maximum for a standing event. Approximately 1150 square feet.

This is an open, multi-purpose room with large windows. Foyer and washrooms offer wheelchair accessibility and baby change station. Located adjacent to the Sir James Douglas School, the main door access is from 1335 Thurlow Road. Available equipment: 50 Chairs, 10 tables,  and a sound system (all included in rental). Clients are responsible for bringing their own coffee and tea as well as cups, dishes and cutlery.  If you plan to rent those items, we recommend Pedersen’s Event Rentals.

Fridays:
6:00 PM - 9:30PM  (event must end by 9pm)
$80/hr or $200 flat rate (both rates do not include cost of insurance)

Saturdays:
3:30 PM – 10:00 PM (event must end by 9:30 PM)
$80/hr or $350 flat rate (both rates do not include cost of insurance)

Sundays:
3:00 PM-7:00 PM (event must end by 6:30pm)
$80/hr or $250 flat rate (both rates do not include cost of insurance)

$60 to add Corinne’s kitchen to any rental, based on availability

Approximately 900 sq. ft.

Commercial kitchen with a gas grill and convection oven, electric cooktop, commercial fridge and sanitizer. It is accessed through shared foyer with the Garry Oak Room

$40 per hour or $120 flat rate for 3+ hours (not including insurance), $60 if included along with a Garry Oak room rental

The large room that we use for childcare programs faces South making it a very sunny and warm meeting place.

Saturdays:
2PM – 8:00PM (event must end by 7:30PM)
$40/hr or $120 flat rate for 3+ hours 

Sundays:
2PM – 6:00PM (event must end by 5:30PM)
$40/hr
