Family Drop-ins

Caregivers bring your children to socialize and play in a relaxed setting.

Family Drop-Ins do not operate during school closures (summer break , winter break, spring break, Pro D days)

Parent & Tot Playgroup (Birth-5 yrs)

Come and join us for some indoor play time! Meet us in the Sequoia Room, this is an opportunity for young children and their caregivers to meet and play in an informal atmosphere. Snack provided. 

Date: Tuesdays

Time: 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM

Cost: Free or By donation ($3 suggested donation/family)

Drop-in Playgroup (birth-5yrs)

Join us for a warm and welcoming space where children can play and explore while parents and caregivers connect. Enjoy a light brunch as FGCA staff facilitate playful activities for little ones and guide informal discussions about the joys and challenges of parenting young children.

Date: Wednesdays

Time: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm (brunch served at 11 am)

Cost: Free or By-donation ($3 suggested donation/family).

Kindergym (Birth-5 yrs)

A time for preschoolers and caregivers to play and learn together in a fun, positive environment. Gym equipment is set up where children can explore. Parent participation is required.

 Date:  Thursdays & Sundays (Sundays starting February 22nd)

 Time:  9:30 am – 11:00 am

 Cost: Free or by-donation ($3 suggested donation/family)

 Where: Garry Oak Room (1335 Thurlow Rd)

Tiny Tempos (Birth-5 yrs)

*NEW* Music & Movement Program: Come and build foundations for learning, connection, and expression through the joy of music and movement. Expect clapping hands, wiggly bodies, silly sounds, and shared laughter as you explore music and dance side-by-side in this delightfully playful caregiver & tot program.
No experience needed – just bring your curiosity, your comfy clothes, and your favourite little human!
 
Dates: Thursdays and Sundays (starting on Feb 19th)
Time: 9:30 – 11:00am
At Tiny Tempos space is limited, classes are first come, first served and often fill up quickly. Arriving on time helps ensure your family gets a spot and allows us to start together in a calm, joyful way.
